Hopper Head

2023 is the year to get bold with paint colours, and Hopper Head is a classic shade of charcoal that you need to check out.

“Dark and moody, for sure, but there’s also a nice organic quality to it—where cozy and warm play with contemporary,” Shea explains in her blog post.

Selvedge

Selvedge is a laid-back blue that Farrow and Ball recommend for relaxing, low-light rooms. “ The great thing about this colour is that it can be played down as a soft blue-grey or paired with deeper tones to be moody and dramatic,” Shea writes.

Stirabout

Are you looking for more neutral paint colour options? If so, set your sights on Stirabout. Farrow and Ball describes this shade as “an earthy tone with just a hint of underlying grey. It’s perfect for creating a relaxed feel, which will never be too cold.”

According to Shea, Stirtabout is “relaxed and organic” but still has “enough contract to give a defined colour scheme to a space.”

Tailor Tack Pink

Farrow and Ball says Tailor Tack Pink is their “lightest and most delicate” pink paint colour. As a mom of three young girls, Shea writes, “it could be used in a sophisticated little girl’s room but would also work in a living room paired with dark woods and vintage pieces.”

Whirlybird

Playful shades of green paint will never go out of style. Shea shares that this poppy green, Whirlybird, would be a perfect choice for cabinetry and will invoke a “bright, luminous shade in the morning and a glazed, burnished quality in the evening.” Farrow and Ball also states that Whirlybird will look “particularly lively in the morning light.”
