World famous funny lady Cheryl Hines is ready to curb your enthusiasm with an incredible reno for her friend of 8 years. Sarita is Cheryl’s assistant turned long-time friend, and what Cheryl describes as a big part of why her daughter is the person she is today. So Cheryl is ready to get down and dirty to transform her friend’s underused garage into an incredible guest suite and peaceful retreat.
Sarita’s house has great bones but missing a place to stay for her big and busy family. Cheryl is so invested with giving Sarita the guest suite of her dreams that she’s willing to work on the physical framing herself. “I think Sarita is going to be very impressed that I built her a wall,” says Cheryl. “The nice thing about construction is that you built it and see it.”

Its reveal day, and to Sarita’s shock, she was utterly surprised and impressed by how much work went into transforming the garage. “Everything is so subtle and beautiful,” says Sarita. “I see the love and the work that went into this.” Sarita now finally has the opportunity to host her guests without them having to spend money on another place.
