Sebastian’s building career began in his parent’s kitchen when he was 15. His parents hired a contractor to renovate and Sebastian instantly became his apprentice. He loved the work, learning the craft, and earning the cred as the high school handyman, until college football came calling.
Sebastian starred in the CFL for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the B.C. Lions, where in 2006 they won the Grey Cup. After retiring from football in 2009, Sebastian took his pro-athlete work ethic, team spirit, and desire to build to launch his home reno business.
Sebastian is passionate about building because it allows him to be physical, creative, and helpful every day. In 2014 his energy burst onscreen when he hosted HGTV Canada’s Tackle My Reno and continues to shine in the hit series Home To Win. The passion to help homeowners create their reno dreams now reaches a new high as Sebastian co-hosts the new HGTV Canada renovation series $ave My Reno.
