Steve Harvey Buys Tyler Perry’s Versailles-Inspired Atlanta Mansion for $15M

With seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, this 34,688-square-foot home was custom built by Tyler Perry in 2007, based on the famed Palace at Versailles, while adding some modern features that King Louis XIV could have only dreamed of.

The home is situated on a 17-acre lot surrounded by greenery. In addition to the main home, there’s also a guard house, caretaker’s suite and security system that’s described as “presidential-level.”

Tyler Perry sold his home in 2016 for $17.5 million, the highest price paid for a home in the history of Atlanta. The home was sold again – to Steve Harvey – for $15 million in May 2020. Even though it was sold for $2.5 million less than the 2016 sale price, it’s still the city’s most expensive home.
