Airbnb has committed to restoring Palais Garnier’s opera boxes to their 19th-century glory to preserve architectural heritage.
Debuting in 1986, The Phantom of the Opera was met with international praise for its mastery of performance art and incredible set design. Much of the musical’s design inspiration came from the extravagant decor in the Palais Garnier. The lush red velvet textiles and gold accents made a perfect backdrop for this romantic story.
