Fall is around the corner and we’re ready to welcome the new season with a clever organization hack for small bedrooms that’s a breeze to put together (and it only costs $50). Having a corner where you can keep your bags, hats and accessories will make you smile every time you walk into your room. Let’s get started…
- A long dowel rod (any length works)
- Hole punch
- Hammer or drill
Step One: Cut the Dowel and Measure the Leather
Depending on the amount of wall space you have in your bedroom to hang your new organizer, you can cut your dowel rod to the exact size you need using a saw. Once it’s the right size, grab your leather and cut two identical pieces (about 20 cm each in length) and fold them around the dowel.
Step Two: Punch Holes in the Leather Straps
Now, punch a hole in each piece of leather where you’ll add a nail later on.
Step Three: Attach the Dowel to the Wall
Once your leather straps are ready, attach the dowel to the wall using a drill or hammer. Tip: You can use a level to do this, ensuring the dowel is perfectly straight on the wall.
Step Four: Add the S-Hooks
Attach your S-hooks to the dowel and get ready to use your new bedroom organization hack. This DIY project is so simple and perfect for small bedrooms as it allows you to optimize your space like a pro.
