With Meghan Markle in the news so much these days (thanks to Netflix’s new biographical documentary series, Harry & Meghan), we thought we’d take a look back at her humble Canadian beginnings: when she was starring on the legal drama Suits and living in Toronto. This three-bedroom, two-bath home in Toronto’s Seaton Village is where love bloomed between the now-duchess and Prince Harry.

The three-bedroom, two-bath home went up for sale in late 2017 for $1.395 million, around the same time Meghan became engaged to Prince Harry. The home has since sold, but the new owner no doubt loves the space’s stylish digs, as well as its great location and, of course, the fact that it is now a part of royal history.
The original listing for the home boasts that it is designer-inspired and turnkey from top to bottom. “A perfect home for entertaining,” it adds.
The “luxe eat-in kitchen” features a small breakfast nook, as well as a walk-out to a professionally landscaped private garden.
Here’s another look at the dining room. The large piece of artwork is the focus of the space. Can you picture the newest member of Britain’s Royal Family hosting dinner parties with her former Suits castmates here?
Here’s one of the home’s three bedrooms.
All That Grey
Here’s another look at the space. We like how the grey colour palette is present in the bedding, artwork and mirrors.
The wall facing the bedroom features plenty of closet space.
The grey colour palette continues in the master bedroom as well in the curtains, bedding, artwork and area rug.
The master bath features showstopping grey tile and black hardware.
The fully finished basement has its own separate walk-out entrance.
The backyard is small, yet cozy.
The backyard is complete with a finished deck, patio stones and plenty of greenery. The home also has a two-car garage.
