process of making yarn tassel garland

Step One: Make The Ghosts

First,  cut a piece of cardboard (around 3.5″ x 6″) and start wrapping your yarn around the cardboard piece 20 times and cut. Additionally, cut two 4″ pieces of yarn and use one to tie a knot on the top side.

With the second yarn strand, tie it 2″ down from the top, and you will create the head of the ghost. Cut the yarn excess and the loops at the bottom with your scissors. Do not forget to give your cute ghosts a good trim, so they are all even. Make as many ghosts in different yarn colours, and let’s add all the details in the next step.
