How to Style It: Start by threading the stars (one by one) using a transparent nylon thread and make a knot to hold each star in the garland. Cut the nylon excess with your scissors and hang your new beautiful garland in your favourite spot.

DIY #2: Make a Modern Star Candle Holder

Wooden stars turned into a candleholder

Materials Required:

  • Wooden stars ornaments
  • Hot glue gun
  • Any ribbons you have at home to decorate
  • Scissors

Star ornament turned into candle holders

How to Style It:  Ornaments as candle holders? It’s easier than you think! Firstly, remove the cords from the star ornaments with your scissors. Add a thin line of hot glue directly into the wooden stars and glue a second star on top. We glued four stars in total to create each candle holder. Add a little ribbon as a special detail to finish this project (and cover the ornament hole). Super cute, right?

Total Cost: $3

DIY #3:  Upgrade your Shelf with This Adorable 3D Wooden tree

  • 3D wooden tree

How to Style It: This tree is a show stopper (especially at this price point, right?) You just need to assemble the wooden tree by sliding the two pieces together, so simple – no tools or glue required. We didn’t paint the natural wood to complement our cheerful, colourful scheme, making this #shelfie perfect for the holidays.
