From the living room in the front of the home to the kitchen along the back, we fully gutted and renovated this main floor to give homeowners Michael and Elise the peaceful, family oasis they desired. The soft sage green cabinets and dusty pink walls compliment the light maple floors throughout, while touches of brass, gold and leather ground the space, adding texture and drama. Michael loves music (and once held concerts in this space!), so we built a custom hutch that house his records, while disguising unsightly bump-outs in the wall. Complete with smartly integrated appliances, upcycled furniture, a glass stair-rail and plenty of plants, this home matured from its days as a bachelor pad and grew into a young family abode (but we kept a bar cart just in case!).
