To create the feeling of a separate space, he kept the small divider wall and added a standalone unit that’s perfect for concealing shoes or resting weary feet. In keeping with the country-chic theme, Jonathan outfitted the living room in dark leathers and textured fabrics. The open-concept space is further defined with rich textiles and nature-inspired accessories.

No family room is complete without a flat-screen. Jonathan made sure this one fit seamlessly into the room’s design by mounting it onto the wall to conceal unsightly wires. The shelving units underneath add bonus storage and style thanks to pretty woven baskets.

The homeowners were insistent on having a wood-burning fireplace, and Jonathan delivered with this gorgeous piece. The breathtaking floor-to-ceiling stone finish acts as a feature wall, adding warmth and old-school charm to the space.
