“I’ve renovated a lot of income properties in my day, but none have been as much fun as these vacation properties,” says host Scott McGillivray. “Don’t get me wrong, I put my team and my homeowners to work, but there’s nothing like taking a water ski or fishing break over lunch!”

To be on the show, you need to have a cottage, boathouse, chalet, farmhouse, historic home or any property that would make a popular vacation rental. The property must be located in Ontario and you need to have a minimum of $75,000 to contribute to the renovation. You must be available 4-5 days over a period of 8-10 weeks for filming in 2021.

“We’re looking for homeowners who want to build their family legacy and have a good time while doing it,” adds Scott. “As a lifelong cottager, I know how valued these secondary homes can be. And being able to help people keep their family cottages has been an awesome experience. It’s not just about making money, in many cases, it’s about hanging on to family memories.”

If you want to be part of this successful HGTV Canada show, contact melanie@mcgillivarygroup.com and tell us why you need Scott’s help. Please include interior and exterior photos of your property. Watch Scott’s call out to fans to apply.

Good luck to all the contestants!
