Since buying a dilapidated hotel in 2018, the Baeumlers have worked toward their dream of creating a one-of-a-kind boutique resort in The Bahamas. They’ve endured termite infestations, a hurricane, and constant financial worries. At the end of Season 2, they finally opened the Caerula Mar Club with most of their jaw-dropping renovations at the resort completed.

Now, the Baeumlers are dealing with a global pandemic. Catch a sneak peek of the upcoming season below:

Six weeks after opening the resort to rave reviews, they were forced to shut down Caerula Mar Club due to the COVID pandemic. Tourism was halted in The Bahamas, and the Baeumlers were left to quarantine on the island. For Sarah and Bryan, their biggest concerns were their family’s safety and the well-being of their staff.

They are now on the path to reopening and the challenges are even greater.

“Like everyone else on the planet, what we want to do isn’t as easy as last year,” says Bryan.

Find out how Sarah and Bryan deal with these challenges. Island of Bryan Season 3 premieres April 18 at 10PM e/p on HGTV Canada and on STACKTV through Amazon Prime.
