Canada’s most famous identical twins, Drew and Jonathan Scott, are back with their hit HGTV show, Brother vs. Brother, and this time they’re doing battle in Los Angeles, the City of Angels. Each of the twins will be renovating two mansions in L.A.’s historic Hancock Park. Over six weeks, the brothers will try to up the value of their respective homes. The brother that increases the net value of their mansion the most is the winner!

Proceeds from this blockbuster stand off will go towards Turn Up! Fight Hunger, a partnership between Discovery and No Kid Hungry. Brother vs. Brother will help deliver up to 100,000 meals to fight hunger and food insecurity.

“We’re taking our sibling rivalry to the neighborhood where I built my honeymoon house,” Drew told HGTV. “I have the home field advantage and plan to settle this once and for all with a hometown win.”

“This competition started at birth, and I won because I came out first,” says Jonathan. “I can’t wait to celebrate my latest win right in Drew’s backyard.”

Adding to the sibling rivalry will be a new familial dimension: eldest Scott brother JD will serve as the referee for the home renovation challenges. This season’s star power will be boosted even higher by some of HGTV’s top-rated talent.

Judging the Property Brothers in this epic battle will be Breegan Jane (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), Maureen McCormick (A Very Brady Renovation), Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential), Orlando Soria (Build Me Up), and Dan Vickery. Each visiting star will decide which brother wins the weekly match.

The losing brother will not only have his tail between his legs, he will also have to go through a barrage of humiliating (but light-hearted) pranks including being the subject of an embarrassing blooper reel, and tracking down the winner’s favorite treats and souvenirs at Disneyland. The winner? He’ll get the treat and souvenirs, a starring role in a superhero photo shoot, and an exhilarating stuntman experience or a dinosaur dig at Los Angeles’s famous La Brea Tar Pits.

Don’t miss any of this ferocious face off. Brother vs. Brother premieres exclusively in Canada on HGTV Canada, Sunday, September 13 at 9PM. Stream Live and On Demand on the new Global TV app and on STACKTV . HGTV is also available through all major TV service providers. And watch HGTV Canada’s digital platforms including Facebook, IGTV, and HGTV.ca for exclusive digital content.
