What to Watch This Fall on HGTV Canada

HGTV Canada has a stellar line up coming this fall that’s packed with returning favourites and exciting new series. Below are just a few of the shows to look out for! And check out this video for highlights.

Family Home Overhaul celebrates community heroes by renovating their homes. ET Canada host Cheryl Hickey leads an all-star cast of HGTV Canada renovators, designers and DIY geniuses that overhaul the homes of people who, despite their own personal struggles, have found a way to give back to their communities. The series premieres exclusively on HGTV Canada on Sunday, September 27 at 10PM e/p.

Property Brothers

Everyone’s favourite twins, are back with two returning series! Property Brothers: Forever Home, will have all-new episodes beginning Monday, August 31 at 9PM e/p while the great Property Brother competition series, Brother vs. Brother is back for another season. This time around, the brothers will battle it out in Tinseltown. Drew and Jonathan Scott will each have a mansion to completely renovate and the one who increases the value of their respective mansion is the winner! Aside from the obvious glory of victory, a donation will be made to the winning brother’s charity of choice. Watch for lots of exclusive digital content on HGTV.ca.

Another HGTV Canada favourite, Good Bones, is coming back this season with host Mina Stasiak Hawk taking a lead role as her mother, Karen E Laine, slowly eases her way into retirement. Watch for the season premiere on Wednesday, September 2 at 10PM e/p.

Love It or List it Hosts

Hilary Farr and David Visentin continue to ask homeowners to answer that age-old question: Love It or List It? The newest season premieres Monday, September 7 at 10pm e/p. For a more genteel approach to home renovation join Ben and Erin Napier for their new season of Home Town. The Laurel, Mississippi couple continue to work on renovating homes striving to maintaining the character of the houses and the community. Watch for the season premiere on Sunday, October, 25 at 9pm e/p.

If you are feeling adventurous, there’s a slew of exciting new shows that will give you a thrill. Welcome to the Jungle takes you from the rainforests of Costa Rica to the paradises of Peru where adventurous homebuyers leave the hustle and bustle of city life to buy their dream homes in the middle of the jungle. Watch for the premiere episode on Friday, September 18 at 10:30pm et/pt.

Beach Around the World will give you a world tour of some of the planet’s most outstanding beachfront locations. From a rustic retreat on a remote tropical island in Thailand to a luxurious seaside home in Australia that’s steps from the Great Barrier Reef, the series follows house hunters in search of their own slice of paradise.

Other amazing series to look out for include Build Me Up which premiers on Wednesday, September 2 at 9pm e/p, and Bargain Mansions on Tuesday, September 1 at 10pm e/p. And Jasmine Roth‘s newest series, Help! I Wrecked My House features the rising HGTV super-star helping homeowners who bit off more than they can chew… and created DIY disasters that need Jasmine’s expert hand to guide them (or takeover!).
