Few people in Hollywood are as notable as actress and Goop CEO, Gwyneth Paltrow. Her diverse talent landed her with an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and an Emmy Award. And throughout her successful career over the past ten years, Paltrow’s longtime friend and assistant, Kevin, helped her navigate through the highs and lows of it all.

In this new episode of Celebrity IOU, airing Monday, July 12, Paltrow expresses her gratitude for all his support over the years. With the help of real estate and renovation experts Drew and Jonathan Scott, the team transforms Kevin’s dated SoCal condo into a stunning modern retreat.
Paltrow jumps in on taking down walls, ripping old fixtures, and putting her heart and soul into renovating Kevin’s newly purchased Southern California condo.
“Kevin has been an incredible constant in my life, and I trust him with everything,” said Paltrow. “He’s my right-hand man. He’s such a good person, and he’s always taking care of other people.”
Highlights of this renovation include a new spacious black and white kitchen, a breathtaking iron staircase, a renovated real wood fireplace, and a built-in dry bar. This makeover also features sweet personal touches, like a sleek, black and white patterned tile in honour of Kevin’s Portuguese heritage.
“Words truly cannot express how much I love Kevin,” she said. “He’s my family. He has done so much for me over the past decade-plus, and I just am so excited to be able to do something for him.”
