Materials Required:

Leftover wood
Paint (we used the pinkest pink)
Paintbrush

Measuring tape

Automatic soap dispenser
60-grit and 100-grit sandpaper

Tools Required:

Jigsaw with a fine-cut wood blade
Nail gun
Drill with a 1 1/2 inch round bit

Step 1: Measure and Mark

First, start by measuring the diameter of your automatic soap dispenser. Then, take a pencil and trace the cuts you’ll need onto the wood. Be sure to use a square to ensure all the cuts are perfectly straight and even.

Step 2: Cut the Wood

Next, using your jigsaw, carefully cut the two pieces of wood that will form the wall dispenser base and backing. For an extra touch of cuteness, you can add a scalloped edge to the front piece of your holder by cutting it with the jigsaw. Next, use your drill and a 1 1/2-inch round bit to make a hole in the base that fits perfectly with the width of your soap dispenser.

Step 3: Sand and Nail

Once your cuts are complete, it’s time for some sandpaper fun. Use a 60-grit sandpaper to smooth down any rough edges from the cuts, especially where the scalloped edge is. Follow up with a 100-grit sandpaper for a finer and smoother finish. As soon as both pieces are dust-free, grab your nail gun and assemble your new dispenser.

Step 4: Paint It

Now that we have our shower dispenser almost completed, you can apply two even coats of paint (we picked the pinkest pink ever!) to both pieces of wood. Allow each coat of paint to dry before applying the next and final coat. Ensure your wall shower dispenser is completely dry before moving on to the last step of the DIY.

Step 5: Mount It

Finally, once the paint is completely dry, you can mount the dispenser by attaching the double-sided wall mount stickers to the back and then securing it to the wall. Be sure to press firmly for a few seconds to ensure it sticks properly.
