Warehouse Wonderland is an exciting new series that takes you inside the high volume, high stakes, and high stress world of a multimillion-dollar wholesale empire. Sarah, Nate, Dave and Paulette Gordon (along with Grandma Molly and Uncle Crash) jointly run the family business, and there's clashing and camaraderie every step of the way at the Gordon Companies in Cheektowaga, New York.
The series is a fun inside look at a family business that highlights the little seen wholesale side of a large volume business. Its a story of hard work, family dynamics and entrepreneurship - it takes a lot of grit and guts to take on the big box stores and multi-zillion dollar players like Walmart, Home Depot and Target and win... most of the time.
The family runs one of the best-known liquidation and wholesale businesses in the United States, with three giant warehouses and a store dedicated to moving anything and everything that other wholesalers and merchants can’t sell.
When they’re not at headquarters running the company, Dave, Sarah, and Nate are off on buying trips around the country meeting with off-the-wall vendors and checking out their equally off-the-wall products! The Gordons know if they spend big, they have to sell big. It's up to the Gordons to determine what's a deal, what can sell quick or when an item is just junk no one would want!
The Gordons each have their own agendas: while Nate is always looking for new ways to expand the internet business, Dave is making distribution deals with multimillion dollar companies and running his massive “Dave’s Wonderland” superstore just down the street. Meanwhile, Sarah is looking for opportunities to outbuy and outsell Nate and make as much cash as possible in the process! With some healthy competition between the two siblings and a little tough love from Dad Dave, they make it work and keep business booming!
Along with the wheeling and dealing, we’re there for all the madness in the warehouses – where up to five shipping containers a day may be delivering goods—and just as many shipping out—as well as the office and call center.
With so much money at stake, the Gordons need to sell their products as fast as they can to get the biggest profit. Will Sarah’s crazy remote control candles make a sizeable sale or will Nate’s water blasters be the flavor of the week? And just how do you set up a display for stuff like slightly defective women’s girdles, glow-in-the-dark palm trees, and plus-size pajamas? When you’re dealing with this much product, something is bound to go awry, so the Gordons will have to be quick on their feet if they want to keep their business thriving!
