Hosts Phil and Sarah compete to cajole our hip, young, urbanite, artistic couple Nadia and Jason who are soon-to-be parents decide whether to purchase their new home in Montreal’s hippest community, Le Plateau Neighbourhood or in Beaconsfield, located 40 minutes from Downtown Montreal. Nadia and Jason are transitioning into parenthood and they are seeking a lively artsy neighbourhood with a kid friendly feel. Jason seeks a music scene where he could perform at open mic nights and Nadia is interested in galleries and places she can take art classes. Will they choose, Phil’s domain in Le Plateau which offers parks, cafes and a laissez faire attitude that attracts new families to the area every year, where they wouldn’t have to give up living in the city? Or will they choose Sarah’s residence in Beaconsfield for its green space, tranquility, parks, recreation centres and community events?
