You guys! Here’s a chance to witness Tommy’s sharp wit and dapper bowtie – I know he’s wearing a regular tie in that photo, how dare he? — in person at the first-ever Design Exchange auction in Toronto, Friday, May 29th.
Established in 1994, Design Exchange (DX) is Canada’s design museum and not-for-profit institution dedicated to promoting the “Experience of Design”. The museum offers a full program brimming with public appeal, covering all the major design disciplines such as architecture, interior and industrial design, fashion, and digital design.
The live and silent auction will include unique items from the personal collections of local and international design stars, as well as limited edition pieces from coveted design brands. All proceeds from the auction will go toward supporting DX’s education programs, curatorial initiatives and the permanent collection.
But Tommy Smythe!! In person!! And a live auction with paddle waving and everything… you’ll definitely need your own bowtie.
Here, watch this video and whet your whistle 😉 See you there!
