Lee had always dreamed of owning a loft and immediately fell in love with this space when he saw it. Although the neighbourhood isn’t ideal, he chose this loft for its great features. However the design elements that make this space unique also present many challenges. Huge windows, soaring ceilings and few walls make it difficult to create an inviting environment. Lee plans on entertaining and hosting poker nights and wants his home to lend itself to having friends over. Lee has a decent budget, but his space is very large and decorating costs will quickly add up. Creating an inviting space, while maintaining the integral design of the loft, all within Lee’s budget, will be the Home To Stay team’s biggest challenge.
