Smart and full of energy, professional finance expert Suzanne Schultz has more than 15 years of experience helping individuals with their financial matters, a skill that comes in very handy as the co-host of the HGTV series House Poor. When not helping homeowners solve their financial problems on the new HGTV series, Suzanne works as a financial planner at the RBC Dominion Securities. Previously, she held positions at AIC Limited and KPMG. Her areas of expertise include personal financial planning, tax minimization strategies and estate planning. Known for her expert advice, Suzanne has appeared on Business News Network’s Talking Tax, Report on Business Television, CP24, Investment Television and the Canadian Learning Channel; has written several articles for the Globe & Mail and has been interviewed by numerous radio stations. Suzanne also co-authored Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies and Taxes for Canadians for Dummies and has since updated every edition. Born in Nova Scotia and raised in both Cape Breton, NS and Oakville, ON, Suzanne attended Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. She is a chartered accountant and a certified financial planner. She currently lives in Burlington with her husband and small children.
