Take it Outside host Kelly Deck has been a fixture on the West Coast design scene for over five years. Her Main Street store, Simple Design Boutique, was a favorite of top designers, trendsetters and devoted locals for years. Kelly’s reputation for uniting beauty and simplicity eventually led her to open Simple Design Group (now Kelly Deck Design) – a full-service interior design company specializing in high end custom homes.

Her philosophy is based on simple inspirations for simple yet gorgeous living. Her clients appreciate Kelly’s vision for creating beautiful spaces, allowing them more time to enjoy life.

In 2006, a unique new television show called Take it Outside hit the airwaves. Host and designer Kelly Deck set out to bring her philosophy of simple, beautiful design to the outdoors. Taking inspiration from a favorite indoor room, Kelly and her team began creating spectacular outside spaces, incorporating the newest and most exciting products and innovations. Viewers across the country were able to glean fantastic design ideas to maximize their outdoor living space.

Expanding living spaces to the great outdoors is a new passion for Kelly. As outdoor design becomes more popular, Kelly is committed to providing her viewers with the most innovative and exciting products and information. As a designer with years of experience, she has access to the newest products and the platform to share them with a wide audience. As well as using the products on Take it Outside and with her private clients, Kelly is regularly quoted in newspaper and magazine articles, interviewed on local and national television shows and gives presentations at home shows across the country.
