Scott McGillivray

Scott McGillivray
Scott McGillivray is every family’s best friend when it comes to all things real estate. He’s a full-time contractor, real estate investor, writer, educator, spokesperson and hugely popular TV host. But his most important - and favourite -  role is as husband to his beautiful wife Sabrina and dad to his two adorable daughters, Myah (4) and Layla (2).
Scott is best known as the host and executive producer of HGTV Canada’s long-running hit series, Income Property, where he’s helped hundreds of cash-strapped homeowners become landlords by transforming their existing properties into income-generators.
But Scott’s also a family man. He’s been married to elementary school teacher, Sabrina since 2008. Their four-year-old daughter, Myah takes after Dad:  precocious, full of energy and ready with a million questions. Her younger sister, two-year-old Layla, is more like Mom:  quiet, reserved and sweet as can be.
Despite Scott’s intense schedule, his little family makes time to garden, dance, cook, travel and laugh together whenever they can. Moving the McGillivray's offers an unprecedented look into this loving and energetic family, while unveiling an intimate, authentic view of Scott that he’s never shared before. Besides all the fun they have, no family’s journey is perfect, especially when moving homes is involved. Viewers get to see the inherent highs and lows that unfold as Scott creates his own family’s dream home.
Moving the McGillivray's is the latest in a series of hit HGTV programs that Scott has appeared in, including Home to Win, Canada’s Handyman Challenge, All American Handyman.
