Have an old shabby chandelier? Don’t throw it away – give it a facelift! Updating an existing chandelier is easy, follow our do-it-yourself project plans.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Chandelier
  • Wire with plug
  • Metal spray paint
  • Satin slip cover (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Spray entire chandelier with metal spray paint.
  2. Rewire the chandelier so the plug is on the end. (This can be done by you or you can take the chandelier to a lighting fixture store for rewiring.)
  3. For a finishing touch, create a tubular satin slip to cover the chandelier wire cord.
