Our real estate expert Jodi Gilmour will guide desperate but hopeful renters in the search to find a space that fits their budget, and then we’ll perform magazine-worthy makeovers on a dime.

Holmes Inspection Image

A new series from the producers of Holmes on Homes

Are you the victim of a bad home inspection? Well-known television production company in the GTA is looking for homeowners with a story to tell. If you've recently purchased a home based on a positive home inspection and found hidden problems after you moved in please send us your story.

To qualify, homeowners must have:

  • Purchased a home in the past 18 months in the Toronto area.
  • Used a Home Inspection Service before purchase.
  • A written Home Inspection report.
  • Found issues with their home that were not accounted for in the inspection report.

Samantha and her design team combine style with sustainability, while using innovative designs to transform a room from dated to divine, into a space that is livable, functional and purely beautiful.

If you are a home dweller who…

  • Owns your own home (no renters please)
  • Is upbeat, outgoing and between 25-49 years of age
  • Has a space that could use Samantha’s help (space should be at least 15 x 15 square feet)
  • Is interested in renovating the space between May-August 2009
  • Lives inside Toronto’s core (not the outlying GTA)
  • Can contribute a minimum of $5000 toward the makeover

Participant Casting Call

Are you interested in a fabulous COMPLIMENTARY Decorating makeover?

The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price is casting for its second season and your home could be next! Ambrose is building his design portfolio and looking for interesting rooms (sunroom, nursery, bedroom, games room etc.) for an exciting makeover.

In order to qualify for the show you must:

  • Live in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Ontario, Canada).
  • Own the home or space for the desired makeover
  • Take some photos and list the dimensions of the room to be made over
  • Please list your name, address, and phone number
  • Describe your personality and why this room is perfect for an Ambrose decorating makeover in a small paragraph (100 words max).
  • Send in a current photo of yourself

Are you a photogenic, energetic, formally trained designer? In the second season of The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price, Ambrose is building his portfolio one client at a time and needs YOUR help to do it. We are looking for an experienced stylist who is not camera shy to help him with decorating makeovers in the GTA

Successful applicants should be:

  • based in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
  • have a strong background in decorating and design
  • AutoCAD experienced preferred
  • positive and upbeat
  • a team player
