Brooke King, Web Producer

A trained photographer, Brooke has a love for everything art & photography and prefers bold colour to all-white interiors. She is an avid animal lover, with three of her own, and along with her husband is currently looking for that perfect 100-year-old house to turn into a family home, in Toronto.

Elana Safronsky, Managing Editor

Elana Safronsky is a lifestyle writer and managing editor of HGTV.ca  Elana's childhood preoccupations included writing and decorating -- seriously -- so writing and editing for HGTV.ca is a sort of homecoming. She loves her 100-yr old home in downtown Toronto, as it is the bearer of all her style and decorating obsessions (she has been known to over shop at vintage stores and antique markets, filling her basement with 'projects' that may never happen). Her style inspiration includes all things vintage -- from furniture, to dishes, to clothing and accessories; uniquely converted living spaces; clever storage solutions and all things Art.

Jennifer Myers

Jennifer Myers is an art director, all round creative type and Bulgogi Enthusiast. Obsessed with culinary pursuits and whitespace, Jennifer spends her days working on FoodNetwork.ca and HGTV.ca as lead designer & contributing blogger. She spends her nights deconstructing recipes in her mostly all-white loft with her mostly all-white french bulldog. You can check out what Jennifer does at www.jennifermyers.ca.
Joy DSouza, Web Producer

Joy DSouza, Web Producer

Joy D'Souza is a lifestyle writer and website producer. Having spent most of her life living in the suburbs, Joy has always been a city girl at heart and now she finally has the postal code to match (moving was a breeze with her knack for organization and streamlined style). Joy adores girly chic accessories and is currently trying to keep her purchases of damask print cushions, mirrored dressers and chandeliers to a minimum.

Mia Shulman, Acting Managing Editor

Mia Shulman is a lifestyle writer and acting managing editor of HGTV.ca. She's a self-professed commitment-phobe when it comes to designing, prone to redecorating on a whim and falling head-over-heels for vintage finds and lust-worthy furniture. When not on the hunt for unique pieces (that she admittedly has no space for), she can be found with a staple gun and fabric in hand, conquering many a DIY project.

Rana Florida, Associate Editor

Rana Florida is the writer and editor of our popular feature, Creative Spaces.  As a lover of everything creative -- from design and style, to arts, culture, fashion and music -- there is never a time when Rana doesn’t have a project on the go. Having gutted her previous home in Washington, DC, executed a complete outdoor redesign of her home in Toronto, as well as completed an inside-out remodel of her Miami Bayfront condo, Rana relishes the process of re-imagining a space, leaving a distinct stamp on every design.

Rebecca Burstein, Jr. Editor

Rebecca Burstein is a writer, editor, and virtual shopaholic. As a junior lifestyle editor at HGTV.ca, she has the tendency to fall – head over heels – for vintage furniture with contemporary flair. She's currently on the hunt for the perfect bedroom chandelier (on top of a never-ending decor wish list). Shopping problem? No such thing.

Tina Taus, Web Producer

Tina Taus is a lifestyle writer and website producer for HGTV.ca. Having grown up in a eclectic century-old home (think magazine-wallpapered rooms and antique furnishings), her biggest design influence has been her mother. From constant garage sales to visiting antique markets and auctions, Tina has grown to love and appreciate vintage everything! She also has a bit of the DIY'er in her, refinishing the walls in her bedroom as a child being her first project. Today, along with her husband, Tina is redecorating her downtown Toronto condo.
