In this episode our 10 contestants arrived in Toronto to meet the judges and each other for the first time. But well before they could comfortably settle into their luxury penthouse suite they were whisked away to HGTV's superstar studio for their first challenge. Or rather, challenges.
Yes, via video submissions, they've made it to the Top Ten, but how do they really fair in person? That's what our judges were eager to decide. And it's thrice the excitement with Jeff, Anna and Suzanne waiting to put our contestants to three separate tests!
With only a few minutes to show the judges just what they've got, Bruno, Marianna, Yamina, Penny, Ginger, Mariela, Catherine, Ambrose, Krista and Jo had to "pitch" their own T.V. show concept to Jeff, pass a skill-testing quiz with Anna, and design an elegant vegetable bouquet for Suzanne.
