Bio
After completing law school and venturing into the field of corporate training, Bruno was left searching for an outlet for his creativity. Inspired by his style-driven mother and free-thinking artist twin brother, he has committed to pursuing an alternative career and embracing a more hands on way of expressing his personality and style.
Innately, Bruno's greatest design influences are laid in what is practical, cheap, and accessible. In keeping with this, his goal has always been to attain designer style on a budget and adopting a transitional style with a global flair seemed natural. The evolution of his decorative style can be described as a tapestry of unexpected finds, creations, and embellishments, the progression of which has been shaped by his historical, social and cultural influences. As a result, he likes adapting elements of global design to suit his environment, ranging from the chic cosmopolitan setting to a more spiritual and restful retreat. These influences are partly born from sentiment, life in Toronto, Caribbean holidays and lengthy European retreats.
Over the years, Bruno has enjoyed doing television and print work, and has regularly acted as Master of Ceremonies for numerous beauty pageants and fundraisers. Teaching is one of his greatest passions – he continues to pursue this interest through volunteer work with Junior Achievement.
