Bio
Yamina has worked in new home construction and design since she was 19-years-old. She credits Alberta's growing economy in providing her with continued and diverse opportunities in home design and interior decorating. A true Albertan, Yamina's designs possess elements that are sophisticated and with a touch of that Western flair!
As well as being passionate about design, Yamina is an accomplished pianist and double bassist. She has studied music at the University of Alberta and later went on to study theatre and drama at Concordia University in Montreal. Music, theatre and the arts have always played a big role in her life and she would like to think these factors have an influence on her design style.
Yamina is well-travelled and enjoys visiting and learning from new cultures. She believes that travelling to exotic locations help her to be a better designer because she always returns home full of inspiration, ideas and many new purchases.
