We laugh at them every year, and yet, a healthy quotient of our family, friends and neighbours turn up wearing their Christmas tree or Rudolph to the holiday soiree. What I want to know is, how many of those people genuinely believe their Christmas sweater brings a little holiday cheer and how many are wearing what is usually completely abhorrent with the intent to mock the former?
I ask this because they’re everywhere (My family and I just did the neighbourhood potluck rounds.)! Is it that people think nothing ties together a room full of red, green and flashing lights like a busy sweater depicting the very same scene?
Is the Christmas sweater an integral part of decking your halls? Or do you categorically refuse to make a tree of yourself?
