Tissue boxes have come a long way from days of past when they were bland and simply monotone.
Today, facial tissue manufacturers have addressed the decorating needs of the average consumer by producing packaging with a variety of designs and treatments in order to accomodate a multitude of different style aesthetics. I have seen tissue boxes with everything from flowers, butterflies, drawings, paintings, coloured geometric patterns, bamboo, country scenes, and pebbles, to custom designed kleenex boxes with family photos.
On the other hand, if there isn’t a design that suits your decor then there is also the option of a tissue dispenser, which basically goes over top of a tissue box in order to completely conceal the box. Usually part of a bathroom accessory set, these dispensers come in a variety of sizes and are made of a variety of materials such as: plastic, chrome, wicker, teak, bamboo and even sculptured art forms. A dispenser eliminates any indecision when purchasing a box of tissues and it helps to maintain your overall design style more successfully than a mass produced print on a tissue box.
In your home, do you display tissues in their original packaging or do you cover up the box with a dispenser? Leave a comment and let us know.
