The Team and I have been thinking: we spend so many industrious hours surfing Craigslist, eBay, Kijiji and other various online resources that ship to Canada (for Pete’s sake!), why not share some of our favourite finds with the group?
Though it hurts me to let go of pieces I would rather have sole bragging rights to for finding, I will admit that in the end, it’s no fun if you’ve no one to share it with.
Seeing as this month’s theme is Organizing, I kick off this weekly feature with the following organizing finds available for purchase to and by Canadians, as of this day — exciting, no?
It’s ONLY $142 Canadian Dollars, and It’s Kartell!
Kartell Panier Side Table, Living Space
Buy I say! Use them as side tables flanking your sofa, as a small condo coffee table, or stack ’em up for some super posh toy storage. These are so fun! (Kartell, in case you’re not sure why I name check it in the headline, is the manufacturer that brings you such modern icons of design as Philippe Starck’s Ghost Chair.)
Two-Tone is all the Rage!
’60s Imperial sideboard w/topper, attributed to Jan Kuypers, Found Design
This place in Ottawa caught my eye when I was looking for authentic MidMod teak sideboards for a friend’s condo I’m decorating. I would consider driving to Ottawa from Toronto, to pick this beauty up. At $595, the price is definitely right!
Mini Wall-mount Wardrobe? Yes Please!
Cutter Mini Wardrobe (Denmark), $210, Mjolk
What tiny hallway (in a condo, or old Victorian) or gutted closet couldn’t use this compact and ingenious little quadrant? Shelf, hooks and hanger rack in a 30"x30" little square! Not a save in the dollar department, admittedly, but a great save on space!
