Here’s how to get the look of this paper lantern light from a DIY playroom makeover.

You can do this on any size paper lantern you like. I went big. Really big.
I used about 300 cupcake papers, and used three different colours. You can do all one colour, or multiple colours. You could also do papers with a pattern on them. Whatever catches your eye.

Separate your cupcake liners - it makes it easier to grab them. Put a circle of hot glue on the bottom of each one, and stick them on. It's that easy.

I decided for my daughter’s playroom, I would do flowers. And if you still can't tell how big this is...

This may help.

Keep gluing them on until you cover the whole lantern. I used a low watt bulb and hung this by a hook in the ceiling. I bought the light bulb cord kit from Ikea.

Honestly, how fun and easy is this!
