How to Use a Couch in Your Kitchen

Kitchen-Couch-Cozy

Whether baking cookies to music, eating a sit-down family meal, entertaining guests or having a sneaky midnight snack, it would seem as if the kitchen feeds more than just hungry bellies. What better way to ensure you keep the heart of your home happy than by making it as comfortable as possible?

Instead of migrating from the kitchen table to the living room sofa for a cozier mealtime experience, combine both worlds by trading a few dining chairs for a big comfy couch.

Although avant-garde, a few accent pillows and throws will immediately incorporate the sofa into the kitchen décor (and add an extra boost of hominess!). A dark wooded table can connote snug gatherings at the cottage. And for those late nights standing in front of the fridge, or early mornings at the stove, a thick, cushioned mat will cradle your feet.
