You don't need to own a Summer Home to tuck these simple ideas into your DIY decor pocket. All you need is the will, and a few common supplies!

Foliage Art

Supplies:

  • Frame with mat
  • Leaves/fronds
  • Spray paint

Process:

1.  Pick leaves or fronds from nearby foliage
2.  Lay the foliage on a frame mat
3.  Make quick passes over the foliage with a spray can
4.  Frame your art

Rope Lamp

Supplies:

  • Lamp
  • Rope
  • Glue gun

Process:

1.  Fire up the glue gun and glue rope to the body of the lamp
2.  Let dry and voila!
