Ground control to Major Tom…the coolest dining rooms are referencing the spacey optimism of the late 1950’s with Sputnik-esque ceiling fixtures. Orbiting satellites poke spectacularly from a serene central orb, and the look is angular yet airy.

The Steal: CB2 Satellite Pendant: currently on sale, $79.95
Just one would be quite fabulous, but from the ‘steal’ end of the spectrum, I envisage a constellation of these eerie beauties, suspended from on high like a mad science experiment.
