Splurge (left): This high-tech polyamide flower was made using a 3D printing process. Each one comes with a CD featuring the unique file that created it, so if your first lily lamp gets lonely, you can order another. It’s available at Unica Home for between $502 and $1,129.
Steal (right): Ikea’s Polypropylene Knappa Tulpan table lamp doesn’t come with a customized cd rom but it’s also only $39.99, will light up a room just as well and looks like high-tech origami.
