Quick back story: I've been living in my apartment for four and a half years, I'm moving next weekend and I have to rid my life of years worth of clutter. I'm not good at getting rid of things (hence the years of clutter), so I had no idea what to expect. But I was ruthless! Hundreds of books -- sold or given away; stacks of magazines stretching back 10 years -- recycled; bags of expired organic face cream and countless makeup -- gone! (I used to work for a women's magazine which means a lot of swag you never get around to using.)
I feel about 20 pounds lighter, Style Sheet readers, which leads me to wonder: Do people still spring clean, as in a major de-cluttering and disinfecting? Or do you keep your home fairly tidy and uncluttered year round? Take the poll and leave a comment below -- you'll inspire me to keep on going because there's still some clutter left!
