As the holidays are just around the corner and your life is about to get a whole lot busier, what could be better than a little family bonding before all the insanity? Family Game Night is fun for everyone, simple to create, very inexpensive and easy to organize. We're about to show you how to make it a whole lot easier with this Party Idea of the Month.

Decide What Games to Play

The most important thing to consider is deciding which games you want to play. The answer is simple –- choose one that's fun for all ages, that won’t turn “Family Night” into “Fight Night” and that you already know how to play. Why? Because you want this to be a bonding experience that could even turn into a monthly tradition. A great go-to for your game night is Monopoly as chosen here.

Fast and Healthy Food

So let’s do a little re-cap...you've picked your games, decided which night of the week works best for the entire family and figured out the baking and family bonding. The good news is: even though you're keeping it simple, it doesn’t mean you have to give in to fast or unhealthy foods.

Remember not to re-invent the wheel here. You can make chili look like the best thing since sliced bread with some cool presentation. For the adults, we shaved big chunks of Parmesan cheese and added deli style bread sticks.

Domino Brownies

All it takes is brownie mix, vanilla icing and white chocolate chips for these cute brownie dominoes...standing up and all. MBParty Tip: Once the brownies have cooled, cut into small rectangles, slice a line halfway through and add dots of vanilla icing. Stand them on a plate and add white chocolate chips around the base of each to hold them up (we used three regular size bags of chocolate chips).
