Northeast Ohio may be bigger than basketball, but can its real estate market surpass what LeBron James has grown accustomed to in the sunshine state? After taking his talents south to join the Miami Heat four years ago, LeBron James bought a stunning 12,000-square-foot property for a cool $9 million. The Coconut Grove mansion has six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, more than enough space for his wife and two sons. Now that he’s announced a move back to Ohio to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, basketball fans in the HGTV Canada office can’t help but wonder: what sort of real estate moves can we expect from the multi millionaire?
No word on whether he’s bought in Ohio, and his Miami house has yet to hit the market, but you can be sure basketball fans and design lovers alike will be vying for the chance to see inside the past and present mansions of one of basketball’s greatest players. We’ll keep our eyes on MLS, so you can keep your eyes on the ball.
