If Mike Holmes and Santa Clause teamed up, we bet the outcome might look a little something like this life-sized gingerbread house. At 20 feet tall, and 60 by 42 feet, it’s the largest confectionary construction of its kind and has won the title of World’s Largest Gingerbread House by Guinness World Record.
The ingredient list is something to marvel at: 1,800 pounds of butter, 7,200 eggs, 7,200 pounds of flour and 3,000 pounds of brown sugar, not to mention 22,000 piece of candy. (Cue the stomachache…)
Visitors can tour the house for a fee, and all proceeds support a local hospital in Texas. The delicious destination has already raised $150,000.
