Closet Offices: Yea or Nay?

Posted by Krystal DSouza Friday, April 4, 2014 10:40 AM EST

I decided that my closet space wasn’t working for me anymore and I rearranged my bedroom to welcome a gorgeous wardrobe unit. Once the closet doors were down and the clothing rack was removed, I couldn’t help but think that all that space was going to be wasted. For a while, it sat as an untouched, chaotic area that housed my dirty laundry and work supplies, but after scouring the internet for bedroom decor ideas, it hit me—I could transform it into a mini office space.

Closet offices come with a ton of benefits. They are a great way to add a workspace to a room that doesn’t have a designated area to do so. Desk areas can quickly become messy and disordered and, unlike wardrobes, don’t have doors to hide the mess away. With closet offices, you can use your original doors or add a pair of curtains to close off the clutter.

So, would you transform your closet into a fully functioning office? Let us know in the comments below!
