Well this was refreshing! I thought all four homes featured on last night’s episode of Four Houses Canada were wholly entertaining!

Yes, even Gale’s Xanadu, where all forgotten reno dreams come to rest (remote control pop-up kitchen TV? A kitchen fireplace? Architectural details dragged kicking and screaming from a time long past, to an ‘80s capsule in the 21st century?)
I loved it. All of it.

Though for me, winner Brian was more compelling than his hodgepodge Art Deco home, his penchant for snapping up great vintage pieces softens my judgmental heart.
I salute Brian’s victory, but will not dismiss Erica’s earnest newbie loft style (you go girl with those Real Estate tour skillz!);
