I’m just going to photo-say what you were all thinking while watching last night’s episode of Four Houses Canada…

Winner, Robert; actor James Cromwell via IMDB
Am I wrong? Not so much in the photo maybe, but when I was watching the epi, Robert WAS James Cromwell. I’m sure I wasn’t alone…

Cara’s Open Concept Kitchen & Office Space
Now that I got that off my chest, I’ll say that I think Cara should have won. No, there wasn’t much in the way of personal spark in her home, but it was by far the most sophisticated and coherent home in terms of decorating prowess. I guess she got a bit of the schadenfreude (or “blond-en-freude” as was coined during the brief downfall of Martha Stewart, during her insider trading fiasco) from the rest of the bunch.

Tanya’s Bedroom
Tanya’s home was less bombshell-ey than I would have liked, and Robert, despite his affecting a celebrity grandeur in both persona and home, just didn’t do anything for me. His home was a weird mishmash of styles that reminded me of a burger with everything on it – sounds like it could be good, but just isn’t.

Robert’s Stairwell/Foyer; Library
Also, I wanted to apologize for not having photos of Joan’s bathroom-less boathouse. We weren’t able to connect with her in time for the photoshoot, and rumour has it, she’s renovating! Hmmmm, bathroom maybe?
