I'm taking a break from my usual Design Dilemma question-and-answer gig to share a couple of
fabulous finds. I was out sourcing fabrics and accessories for the one hour special that I'm working on for HGTV when I happened upon a new product at In Vu Drapery Co.: soil and stain repellent fabric. The graphic pattern in a pretty violet shade is 100 per cent cotton. You can use it for drapery, table linens, upholstery and of course, cushions.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw the elephant and monkey fabric. I thought is this either crazy or awesome. Obviously, I had decided the latter when I realized that it would be fabulous in a kid's room — think nursing chair upholstery, roman blind, or crib bedding. You could easily pull any one of the many colours from the fabric for the walls. I'm partial to the dark green with a crisp white chair rail.
Happy Decorating!
