Aurora, Ontario boutique JacKryn France specializes in chic, hard-to-find European brands, like Yves Delorme and Tissage Moutet, that make luxurious bed, and table linens, respectively. You can also find Germany's modern, often colourful, Leonardo glassware, and exclusively at JacKryn France, London cult favourite, Cath Kidston's unquestionably cute floral-printed accessories. Look for Kidston's summer must-haves like a rose-printed cooler bag and pretty posied sun umbrella.
The best part is that you don't have to live in Aurora to treat yourself to a shabby-chic shopping spree. You can shop online! Be sure to peruse the antiques and furniture section for unique French Country pieces. And while usually, tea towels (especially at $25 each) wouldn't get me worked up, JacKryn France's selection printed with illustrations of funny little dogs, Gaspard the gnome at the Eiffel tower and Marie Antoinette, look like artwork that I would rather frame than dry my dishes with.
JacKryn France is located at 89 Wellington Street in Aurora or at www.jackryn.com.
