A big part of why I love do it yourself projects so much is all thanks to my workspace. My workspace consists of a long white table divided in the middle by a large drawer unit, divided so that I can have a computer station on one side and a project/sewing station on the other. I also use a secondhand dresser to store various materials and supplies and display inspiration boards.
Certain projects take a few days to complete so it’s great to have space large enough to leave your project and accompanying supplies at the ready until you can find the time to complete it.
I have had many failed DIY project attempts over the years but with the help of what I now consider my go-to DIY tools, I have the confidence to tackle any project. Those tools are: a glue gun, an exact-o knife, good scissors, sketchbooks and my sewing machine.
My favourite DIY projects are seasonal decorations; wreaths, ornaments and bunting and home decor such as curtains and pillow cases.
