Green Space versus Grey Space: What’s More Beautiful?

In every great city there’s a balance between green space and grey space, where urban planning, landscaping and architecture meet. In the city of Toronto, where the offices are located, we’re lucky enough to have several large parks running right through the city, sandwiched between architecture that spans well over a century. It’s the best of both worlds, but is one world better?


In the photo above, Kathleen Dolmatch captures the abrupt divide between the city of New York and Central Park, and we’re torn between loving the two. New York City’s iconic buildings are some of the most beautiful in the world, but what’s a city without a park to escape to?
