As much as we love having beautiful decorating books sent to us, we know it's our duty to send them back out into the world -- and to you, our readers! Today's giveaway is a gorgeous and inspiring coffee table book by home decor doyenne Annie Selke called Fresh American Spaces (Random House Canada, 2011). Annie is the creative mind behind textile brand Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert Rug Company, as well as her own collection Annie Selke Home, and she's known for her sharp eye and love of colour and comfortable, lived-in spaces.
The book is divvied up into five distinct styles: Refined Romantic, Nuanced Neutral, Happy Preppy, Cultured Eclectic and Everyday Exuberance. There are over 400 photos featuring every type of room with tips on creating each look through colour, fabric and texture, plus how-tos to help you along.
